Individual Tutoring

I like to individualize my tutoring to each and every student I work with, hence my service will be highly tailored to what you demand. Generally, I work with academic planning (eg. IB choices), subject-specific tutoring (eg. IB Economics), and long-term skill-based tutoring (eg. improving reading comprehension). Most of my tutoring is offered online during the school year, though exceptions are granted on an individual basis. Though I converse with most of my students in English, I have worked with students speaking Chinese on occasion. I specialize in English and the humanities/social sciences at the middle to the high school level, particularly IGCSE History, Economics, Geography, and English, and IB History, Economics, English, and Global Politics. My hourly rate is 500¥/hour.

Summer Courses

Teacher Writing a Formula on a Blackboard

This summer, I am offering a college-style writing course targeted at students Y10-13 (G9-12). Students will learn how to become better academic writers through the study of Eastern and Western philosophical ideas. The course takes place between June 27th and July 9th, 10-12am every morning at the address listed.
